<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood covering composite having surface characteristics such as transparency, smoothness, glossiness, uniformity, a depth feeling, etc. and excellent in various physical properties such as durability, strength and the like, and a method for manufacturing the wood covering composite efficiently and simply. <P>SOLUTION: An unsaturated polyester resin composition is placed on decorative veneer and the whole is molded by a hot press to obtain the wood covering composite. The unsaturated polyester resin composition is composed of an unsaturated polyester resin, a polymerizable monomer and an isocyanate component containing an aliphatic diisocyanate as an essential component and characterized in that the ratio of the equivalent of the hydroxy group in the unsaturated polyester and that of the isocyanate group in the isocyanate component is 1:0.7-1.2 and the unsaturated polyester contains 50 mol% or above of an unsaturated dibasic acid with respect to 100 mol% of the total acid component and the mass ratio of the acid component, a glycol component and/or an epoxy compound component is 1:1.3-2.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
