PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which surely prevents an ink from leaking out when an ink feeding needle is inserted, and also maintains a sealing force. SOLUTION: This seal material 4 at the ink feeding port of this ink cartridge is equipped with: a tapered guide section 6; a seal section 5; and a membrane section 7. In this case, the tapered guide section 6 guides the distal end of the ink feeding needle B. The seal section 5 is located on the upstream side of the guide section 6 and elastically comes into contact with the peripheral surface D of the ink feeding needle. The membrane section 7 seals the seal section 5, and at the same time, and the ink feeding needle penetrate the section 7.
