PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compaction vehicle capable of being easily made to travel at a fixed rate even if forward and backward movements are repeated. SOLUTION: In the compaction vehicle equipped with a speed control member for travel/stop of a vehicle, a displacement detection means 7 making detection of the displacement S from a stopping operating position of the speed control member and a driving source controlling means 9 controlling a travel driving source 10, it is equipped with an operation means 8 outputting a signal I carrying out an operation processing to the driving source controlling means 9 in response to the displacement S, a travel speed setting switch 6 for an operator to make ON operation and a control signal storage means 11 memorizing a signal I1 to the driving source controlling means 9 in the case the travel speed setting switch 6 is turned ON, and the operation means 8 outputs the signal I1 to the driving source controlling means 9 in the case the travel speed setting switch 6 is turned ON for the displacement S to exceed a predetermined value.
