PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture an outer ring or an inner ring by shortening the working time for forming oil grooves. SOLUTION: The fixed uniform universal joint is provided with the outer ring 25 in which a plurality of track grooves 22 are formed in an inner spherical surface 21 toward an opening end along the axial direction equiangularly, the inner ring in which a plurality of track grooves are formed in a counterpart to the track grooves of the outer ring 25 in an outer spherical surface along the axial direction equiangularly, a plurality of balls disposed between the track grooves 21 of the outer ring 25 and the track grooves 22 of the inner ring to transmit torque, and a cage disposed between the inner spherical surface 21 of the outer ring 25 and the outer spherical surface of the inner ring to retain the balls. The oil grooves 41 to retain grease are provided in an opening side portion away from a curvature radius center O<SB>4</SB>in the inner spherical surface of the outer ring 25, and a counter opening side portion away from the curvature radius center in the outer spherical surface of the inner ring.
