PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute drilling work even if frequent replacement of a cutter and a center drill is required according to the material and the hole size of a drilling object by allowing quick and easy attaching/detaching of the cutter and the center drill to/from the chuck of an electric drill. SOLUTION: This adapter 7 for the cutter for individually attaching the center drill 11 and a core body 10 to a connecting member 9 to be connected to an electric drill, is provided with retaining parts A13, B13 and C13 having insertion holes A for inserting insertion parts A15, B15 and C15 provided in the connecting member 9, the center drill 11 and the core body 10, locking hard balls A20, B20 and C20 locking the movement in the pull-out direction of the respective insertion parts A15 inserted into the respective insertion holes, and locking release parts A29, B29 and C29 releasing the locking to the insertion parts A15 by moving them in the axial direction of the adapter body 12.
