Retro-fitting tank with leakage protection measures, raises tank, makes base liquid tight and adds tank supports, interceptor and instrumentation

The tank (2) is raised from its normal static location. A sheet or panel sealing against liquids (3), is placed on the foundation, covering a greater area than the tank base (4) and falling-off with an outward gradient. A surrounding collar (8) fitted to the sheet, forms a trough-like interceptor. Angular, sectional guide sheets (10) located on the liquid-tight sheet outside the base area of the tank, hold leakage sensors. A support frame is constructed over the sheet. It matches the foundation and forms a planar resting area for the tank. The tank is lowered onto the support frame.
