The buffer has a cover adapted to changing measures of a tappet due to wear out regarding to the length of the cover, outer diameter and measures for a fitting key groove, where tappets (5) are used with metal springs. The cover is designed in the inner side of the buffer for receiving the miner spring, and the spring installation dimension is adapted to the measure of the tappet. A guiding plate is arranged at the base of a buffer plate. The guiding plate (1) consists of a retainer for a guiding bar at the centre, where the bar guides the miner spring.
