The device has a nozzle needle (24) with a conical section, and a nozzle body with a recess having a wall, where the wall forms a seating region (19) in area of a nozzle tip. Wall section extends from the seating region in a direction away from the tip. A throttle with decreasing throttle effect is formed by the wall section with progressive movement of the needle from its closing position in cooperation with the needle. A flow of fluid e.g. fuel, via an injection opening in the tip is stopped by the seating region in cooperation with the conical section in a closed position of the needle. An independent claim is also included for an injection valve for dosing a fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprising a nozzle device.
