The method for affecting the trigger points provides for their inactivation by the laser emission in the infrared spectral range 0.8-0.86 ?m in the continuous pulse contact mode. The modulation frequency is 37.5 Hz for the central myofascial trigger points and 10 Hz for trigger points at the sites of tendomuscular transition and/or the sites of the tendon attachment to the bones.
