<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle molding hardly generating noise when a distal end of a projection part is brought into contact with a window plate and is removed therefrom in traveling of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The lengthy vehicle molding 10 is mounted along a clearance between a pillar panel 4 of the vehicle body and a peripheral edge of the window plate 3 arranged adjacent to the pillar panel. In the distal end 42 of the projection part 40 of the molding, a step 46 is formed such that an outward edge 21B side of the distal end is projected to a surface side of the window plate and an inward edge 21A side of the distal end is recessed toward a body part side. When it is mounted to a predetermined position, the projection part 44 of the distal end is brought into contact with the surface of the window plate, whereas the recessed part 43 of the distal end and a proximal part 45 of a cushion part 48 formed on the distal end of the projection part are separated from the surface of the window plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
