<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator for presenting tactile information that is miniaturized, and can present diversified tactile information. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator comprises a stator 10 formed flat; a translationally movable element 30 disposed facing each other on one of main surfaces of the stator 10 to move translationally, in response to electromagnetic force exerted between the translational movable element and the stator 10 in an x-axis direction and in a y-axis direction crossed at right angles to each other along the main surfaces; and a rotationally movable element 50, disposed to oppose each other on the other main surface of the stator 10 to move rotationally, in response to the electromagnetic power in the rotating direction exerted between the rotational movable element and the stator 10, thus presenting colorful tactile information based on both the translational and rotational motions in a movable element, while the actuator is miniaturized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
