<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of image print data whereby the amount of data communicated between the image supply device of the image print data such as a digital camera and a printer can be reduced regardless of presence/no presence of limit on a protocol. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: storing storage information used for storing image print data to a received data memory to a storage information memory; referring to the storage information stored in the storage information memory before the reception request of new image print data to discriminate the storage state of the image print data whose reception is requested; and transmitting no reception request of the image print data to the image supply device when it is discriminated that the image print data whose reception is to be requested have already been stored, utilizing the image print dada having already been received in the reception data memory, and generating the image data, or generating the image data on the basis of new image print data transmitted from the image supply device when it is discriminated that the print image data whose reception is requested are not stored yet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
