<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure due to changes in humidity in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An isolation wall 1 is provided to isolate the space housing a photoreceptor drum 3, a developing unit 2, a static charger 5, a transfer means 6 and a fixing device 8, from the outside open air.
