PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted antenna which is easily manufactured, can obtain an excellent radiation characteristic and a wide pattern area, and is adaptable to a plurality of bands. SOLUTION: The surface-mounted antenna is provided with a dielectric base body 3 of which the external form is like an oblong block and on which a through hole 2 having an axis in the longitudinal direction is formed and an outer surface conductive pattern 4 formed on the outer surface of the dielectric base body 3. A dielectric insertion member 8 is inserted into the through hole 2. Further, an insertion conductor pattern 10 is formed on the outer surface of the dielectric insertion member 8.
