PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a related method for executing commands without user's privilege of a host computer in order to solve various problems by the conventional technology. SOLUTION: This method for logging in to a protection area of a portable storage device including one or more controllers and storage units includes steps of: requesting input of a password; storing the input password and a collation command in a scheduled area of the storage unit; determining whether or not the password is exact by executing the contents stored in the scheduled area by a controller and allowing login to the protection area when the password is exact.
