PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine and a manufacturing method for it increased in strength by improvement in structure of a casing body such as an outer case. SOLUTION: This vending machine 1 for selling commodities is provided with the outer case having a housing room R for housing the commodity and a machine room M for housing a temperature regulation unit regulating the housing room R at a desired temperature. The outer case 10 is constructed by assembling a machine room principal part 110, which is previously formed by connecting a base main body 111, an outer case bottom plate 112, and various reinforcement fittings 113 together, and an outer case main body 100. This manufacturing method for the vending machine 1 provided with the outer case 10, which has the housing room R for housing the commodities and the machine room M for housing the temperature regulation unit regulating the housing room R at a desired temperature, includes a first process, in which the base main body 111, the outer case bottom plate 112, and the various reinforcement fittings 113 are connected together for forming the machine room principal part 110, and a second process, in which the machine room principal part 110 and the outer case main body 100 are assembled together for forming the casing body.
