<p>A magnetic toy having a magnetic blocking plate is disclosed. The magnetic toy includes a plurality of unit block elements (11) each having a polyhedral shape, and having on at least one surface thereof at least one recess (G). A disc-shaped magnetic blocking plate (12) is inserted into the bottom of the recess in such a way as to rotate in a horizontal direction. One or more pairs of magnets (13) are parallelly layered on an upper surface of the magnetic blocking plate (12) such that opposite magnetic poles provided on upper surfaces of the magnets are alternately arranged around the circumference of the magnetic blocking plate. A cap (14) is secured to an open end of the recess (G). The magnetic toy of this invention allows the miniaturization of the magnet, in addition to minimizing the depth of the recess.</p> |
