TOILET MODULE

The invention relates to a toilet module (1) which includes a toilet bowl (11) and a conveyor (12), the outlet of the toilet bowl being located above the conveyor. The conveyor is mounted in a support (10) for both conveyor and toilet bowl. A conveyor discharge is positioned to discharge into an outlet (6) from the support which is adapted for connection into either a waterborne sewage system or a self-contained digestion system. The latter may be a chemical or aerobic digestion system. The module includes a toilet seat (16) and a mechanism for causing movement of the conveyor to transport sewage along its length. The conveyor may be inclined to cause solid sewage to be moved away from the toilet bowl while permitting urine to separate for independent disposal.
