<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high impurity aptitude, to increase airtightness and to increase joining strength between a container body and a cover by devising the structure of an opening and the cover as to an airtight container such as a beverage or food container sealed by thermofusion including laser welding. <P>SOLUTION: This airtight container 100 is provided with a container body 1 having an opening and a plastic cover 3 which generates a strain on itself when it closes the opening for forming a pressured airtight part 4 to the body by a stress easing the strain and for the part 4 to be a sealing line.
