PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module and a connecting rod for fixing unit batteries applied on this. SOLUTION: The device includes a battery group containing a plurality of unit batteries, a pair of end plates located at the outermost part of the battery group, and a connecting rod which is joined to the end plate and fixes the end plate and the battery group so that, by improving the structure of the connecting rod for fixing the end plate, it may have a uniform contact with the end plate regardless of the deformation of the end plate. The connecting rod comprises a rod portion and a head portion installed capable of playing at the tip of the rod portion. Thereby, safety coefficient of the battery module can be improved and weight of the battery module can be reduced, enhancing reliability further, while it can be used as an energy source for driving a motor of the equipment.
