<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TDM signal transmission system, a TDM terminal connection apparatus, and a TDM exchange connection apparatus capable of encapsulating a TDM signal for transfer without the need for allocating a MAC address to a subscriber telephone set and a telephone exchange. <P>SOLUTION: The telephone set connection apparatuses 1-1, 1-2 connected to the subscriber telephone sets 106-1, 106-2 transmit a layer-2 frame encapsulated with the TDM signal, the layer-2 frame including a line identifier for identifying a TDM line receiving the encapsulated TDM signal, to the exchange connection apparatus 2, and the TDM exchange connection apparatus 2 connected to the telephone exchange 3 extracts the line identifier from the layer 2 frame received from the telephone set connection apparatuses 1-1, 1-2 and selects a channel on a TDM exchange interface for de-capsulating the received layer-2 frame and outputting the extracted TDM signal on the basis of the extracted line identifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
