<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CMOS image sensor and a camera device including it by which separate and additional time for automatic focusing can be reduced and operations of automatic focusing algorithm can be stably performed. <P>SOLUTION: The CMOS image sensor is equipped with a sensing section which is provided with several unit pixels, receives an optical image corresponding to an external subject through them and outputs electrical signals with respect to hues of corresponding pixels by unit pixel, a control section which converts the electrical signals outputted from the sensing section into digital signals, processes the digital signals, outputs image signals and controls the sensing section, an automatic focusing algorithm section which receives the image signals and calculates a focus value by using the tracking algorithm for automatic focusing and an actuator control section for controlling an actuator by using the focus value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
