PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for multimedia multi-cast transmission in a mobile wireless network that can be applied to a multi-antenna system as well as to a single-antenna system. SOLUTION: A base message and an additional message are transmitted at the same time. A receiver having different complexities and different capabilities is used to demodulate different messages.
