NETWORK HOUSEHOLD ELECTRIC APPLIANCE CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a network household electric appliance connected to a network of different communication protocol by the operation on the device of one kind. SOLUTION: In the home, an IP network and a non-IP network are connected by an ECHONET (energy conservation and homecare network) router as a home network; and a network household electric appliance is connected to either IP network or non-IP network. An household electric appliance control unit controls a network household electric appliance connected to the IP network. When registering a new network household electric appliance connected to the IP network, its registration procedure is presented to a user. When registering a new network household electric appliance connected to the non-IP network, the household electric appliance control unit accesses a non-IP network appliance registering device to acquire a registration procedure presented to a user.
