PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the checking method of a keyboard for surely and efficiently checking a keyboard with excellent versatility. SOLUTION: Such data as the layout pattern and position of each of keys of a keyboard to be checked, codes for specifying keys, the reference positions of keying solenoids for the start of check and the depression force of keys based on the keying solenoids are input and stored in advance, and when the layout pattern of the keyboard to be checked and the depression force of the keys are designated, a control part moves the keying solenoids to a standard position according to stored data, and relatively moves the keying solenoids and the keyboard to an XYZ directions according to the layout pattern of keys.
