PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide media registration in a printer and a copier for improving performance without increasing cost. SOLUTION: This media registration system includes a process of measuring an electric current/voltage level including at least one of an electric current and voltage level impressed on a driving motor connected to a driving roller in a driving nip assembly adapted so as to move media in one of printing and copying devices, a process of determining a difference between a speed of the driving roller and a speed of the media on the basis of the electric current/voltage level, and a process of changing the electric current/voltage level impressed on the driving motor when an actual speed of the media is different from an expected speed of the media.
