PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle improved in comfort of an interior by preventing front seats from being excessively heated and rear seats from being excessively cooled. SOLUTION: When operating in a waving mode, conditioned air is blown out from a bent blow-out opening and a foot blow-out opening each other. Waving mode operation is permitted any time except the operation for quickly cooling or heating. In this case, air volume of the conditioned air from the bent blow-out opening is set smaller than air volume of the conditioned air from the foot blow-out opening. As a result, when heating for an example, it is unnecessary to set the temperature of the conditioned air from the bent blow-out opening lower than the temperature of the conditioned air from the foot blow-out opening so as to cool the head and heat the feet.
