A method for avoiding space collision of an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) reader system and an RFID reader system thereof are provided to fundamentally prevent the collision among response signals of RFID tags, and improve coverage and performance by dividing space with multiple sector antennas and transmission power control. The sector antennas(20a-20d) divide the space including the RFID tags into multiple sectors. A circulator(30) separates a signal transceived with each sector antenna. The band pass filters(13,40) restrict a band of a transmission and reception signal. A transmission power control amplifier(50) divides the sectors into each sub cells by controlling transmission power of each sector antenna. A modulator(60) modulates the transmission signal, and an ADC(Analog Digital Converter)(70) converts a baseband analog signal into a digital signal. A demodulator(80) demodulates the data and realizes a collision avoiding algorithm. |
