The method includes: receiving multiple programs over a satellite link (220); determining whether to perform a local content insertion such as to insert a local content entity to a selected program being outputted by an end user device (240); inserting the local content entity in response to the determination (250); and providing the selected program that comprises the inserted local content entity to the end user device.
