A process for producing a plug sleeve, comprises forming a connection section (3) at one end of a primary sleeve section (1), by reducing the outer diameter with respect to that of the rest of the sleeve. A secondary sleeve section (2) is also provided with a connection section, that complements the primary section. A secondary sleeve section (2) is also provided with a connection section, that complements the primary section. The connection section of the outside of the primary sleeve or the inside of the secondary sleeve, has at least one depression (13). Both connection sections are joined together by rotational welding. The connection section has sharp contours, and at least one of the depressions consists of a circumferential groove (32). |
