<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape connection seal and a top tape connection method for preventing generation of tape jam etc. on a returning portion of a peeled top tape. <P>SOLUTION: When an adhesive tape 28 (tape connection seals 29, 31) is used for connection, its end facing a traveling direction of a part tape 10 (10ol, 10nw) is formed so as to have an angle α° of not more than 90° in the traveling direction of the part tape 10, and an acute angle portion 31-1 is formed on the end thereof. Even if a connection portion of the top tape 10b is made thick due to overlapping or wrinkle, since the acute angle portion 31-1 of the connection portion first passes easily through a recess 16-2 of the turning portion 16 first, a subsequent connection seal 31 follows the preceding acute angle portion 31-1 follows the preceding acute angle portion 31-1 and easily passes through a hard portion 16-3 of the turning portion 16 narrower than a convex center portion 16-1 without causing jam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
