<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and method capable of significantly enhancing operability via a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: An enlarged section ZK showing which of the plurality of sections K displayed in a liquid-crystal panel 3A has been selected via a touch panel 3B is displayed to enable the user to easily estimate which of the sections K has been selected. Further, the section K is selected at the press of the touch panel 3B with a fingertip and is determined when the fingertip leaves, whereby operations from selecting to determining the section K can be achieved by one pressing operation on the touch panel 3B. As a result, it is possible to significantly facilitate operation inputs by a fingertip via the touch panel 3B regardless of the display area of the section K displayed in the liquid-crystal panel 3A, and the operability via the touch panel 3B can thus be significantly enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
