PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of preventing the complication of the configuration in a device which fixes a mobile part driven by a motor in a given position. SOLUTION: A locking device, which fixes the mobile part in a fixing position where the mobile part comes into contact with a stopper, is equipped with a driving part which shifts the mobile part, using a motor and a gear, and a motor control unit which controls the current of the motor. The motor control unit fixes the mobile part in the fixing position by continuing the supply of the motor current while it is limited under a set stop current larger than zero, until after stoppage of the mobile part due to contact with the stopper. Moreover, the motor control unit starts the shifting, in the direction of moving away from the fixing position, of the mobile part fixed in the fixing position, by supplying the motor with a start current larger than the set stop current.
