PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil antenna which enables downsizing, simple configuration and the suppression of working man-hours, etc. by suppressing a voltage difference between conductor wires close to each other in adjacent coils. SOLUTION: The coil antenna 31 includes a columnar bobbin 32A, the bobbin 32A includes projections 38 projected in an outer circumferential direction, and the coil antenna is formed by winding a coil 33A being a right-handed rotatory coil and a coil 33B being a left-handed rotatory coil on the bobbin 32A so that the coils 33A, 33B are demarcated with the projections 38 between. The right-handed rotatory coil 33A and the left-handed rotatory coil 33B are made of one consecutive wire member wherein directions of interlinking magnetic flux of the right-handed rotatory coil 33A and the left-handed rotatory coil 33B are almost coincident with each other and the right-handed rotatory coil 33A and the left-handed rotatory coil 33B act like a parallel circuit.
