PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of communicating color information and differentiating by color communications. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine includes a means for negotiating a communication function of JPEG coding information in a color space sYCC in a preceding step and continues communication even when receiving a PPS-EOM signal even in the case of executing JPEG Full color communication in the color space sYCC. When the facsimile machine can receive the PPS-EOM signal in the case of receiving the PPS-EOM signal, the facsimile machine transmits a DIS signal with a color space sYCC reception function and shifts to reception of a next page, when the facsimile machine cannot receive the PPS-EOM signal, the facsimile machine transmits a DIS signal without the color space sYCC reception function. On the other hand, the facsimile machine transmits the PPS-EOM signal every time transmission of a file of digital still camera information is finished in the case of execution of the JPEG full color communication in the color space sYCC.
