PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator cleaning device which can clean an insulator suitable for a cold district. SOLUTION: An insulator cleaning device which cleans rows of insulators 10, 11 installed in plurality of steps and installed in plurality of rows at a predetermined interval are composed of a plurality of spray nozzles 20, 21 placed at a position where a cleaning water can be injected toward each of the above insulator rows and can clean each insulator of the above insulator rows and pumping units 40, 41 for pumping up a cleaning water in a cleaning water tank 3 and supplying to spray nozzles 20, 21, and a plurality of electromagnetic valves 60, 61, 62, 63 fixed on a piping 5 installed between the pumping units 40, 41 and each of the spray nozzles 20, 21. The cleaning water from the above spray nozzles is operated for cleaning at a short interval and continuously at a time of strong winds and a low temperature, and thus a pollution of insulators are prevented.
