PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which can be efficiently manufactured, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A plurality of transparent electrodes 311a, 311b, and bus electrode black layers 313a, 313b and main conductive layers 314a, 314b which are laminated at the end parts of the transparent electrodes 311a, 311b are provided on a pair of display electrodes 310. The bus electrode black layers 313a, 313b are formed of a material having the same quality as that of a black pattern 320, and a conductive particle 315 having a particle diameter d1 larger than their film thickness d2 is provided in the inside of the layer. Therefore, good continuity between the transparent electrodes 311a, 311b and the main conductive layers 314a, 314b can be secured through the conductive particles 315 contained in the bus electrode black layers 313a, 313b. The bus electrode black layers 313a, 313b and the black pattern 320 can be integrally formed of the same material, and plasma display panel can be efficiently manufactured.
