摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine emission component reducing device for reducing unburnt HC exhausted at starting an engine. SOLUTION: The device comprises an ignition plug 41 provided facing a combustion chamber 11 of the engine, a cold determining means (Step S20) for determining whether the engine is in a cold state or not, an operated state determining means (Step S70) for determining whether the engine is operated in a predetermined operation region or not, where its revolution speed is lower than a reference revolution speed although an engine load is greater than a reference load when the engine is in the cold state, and an ignition timing adjusting means (Step S80) for adjusting the ignition timing of the ignition plug slower than after-warm-up ignition timing right after starting the cold engine, and for adjusting the ignition timing of the ignition plug to be faster than the after-warm-up ignition timing when the engine is in the cold state and operated in the predetermined operation region, to reduce emission components exhausted from the engine.
