PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency control operation system for an elevator in case of an earthquake, capable of easily and promptly determining an elevator requiring emergency control operation for an earthquake at low cost and of controlling the emergency control operation for an earthquake. SOLUTION: In this emergency control operation system in case of an earthquake, an elevator monitoring center 1 controlling elevators is provided with an elevator information database stored with latitude and longitude data on the elevators; a real-time earthquake information receiving part 5; and a calculation and control part 6 calculating distances between the epicenter and the elevators, arrival time of the earthquake to the locations of the elevators and the magnitude of the earthquake etc. based on the real-time earthquake information related to the earthquake and data in the database 4, extracting the elevator requiring emergency control operation for earthquake, and sending an emergency control operation command for earthquake to the extracted elevator side via a network 2.
