The component has a through hole (2) with a uniform diameter of specific millimeters. The through hole runs from a view side (1.1) in direction of a non-view side (1.2) of the mineral component. An integrated lighting unit (3) with a light emission port (3.1.1) is arranged in direction of the view side of the mineral component. The lighting unit is firmly fixed in the through hole of the mineral component by a light permeable sealing compound (6). An independent claim is also included for a lighting unit for application in a mineral component.
