A pattern section of exterior cloth and a formation method thereof are provided to simultaneously obtain the embossed carving and the depressed engraving effects at a pattern formed on the surface cloth of products. A depressed engraving pattern portion(1) includes a penetration hole having a lower folding member at the portion for forming the pattern of an orignal sheet(3). A circumference cloth includes a penetration hole having an upper folding member. The first sewing member(13) folds and sews the circumference cloth to the lower circumference of the penetration hole of the original cloth. An embossed carving pattern portion(2) has the circumferences relatively larger than that of the penetration holes and includes a pattern cloth(21) having an embossed carving portion(22).
