METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF WIRE BILLET

A method for treatment of wire billet by accumulation of deformation by multiple repetition of cycles of alternating plastic deformation of the billet with keeping its initial shape and dimensions through polygonal system of intersecting channels with three and more cells of deformation up to the total value that provides for formation of sub-microcrystalline structure, consists in that the deformation is performed by bending with simultaneous twisting at drawing the billet through polygonal system of intersecting channels, which rotates around axis of treatment formed by at least three profiled rollers located in one plane and displaced from the axis of treatment, said rollers rotate relative to their own axis, with continuous change of position of the bending plane in the space.
