Connecting rod (1) has upper eye (2), lower eye (3) and hollow shaft (6) which extends from a support area (4) on the upper eye to a support area (5) on the lower eye. To reduce thickness of walls in shaft area and to nevertheless withstand high stress loads, there is at least one brace (7) which runs from the shaft to the support area of the lower connecting rod eye. |
