LANTHANUM CHROMITE-BASED MATERIAL, INTERCONNECTOR, SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL AND ELECTRIC HEATING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lanthanum chromite-based material having reduction expansion smaller than a conventional lanthanum chromite-based material, electric conductivity equal to that of the conventional lanthanum chromite-based material, thermal expansion coefficient almost equal to that of a solid electrolyte material such as yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and suitably used particularly as an interconnector material of an electrochemical cell such as a solid oxide fuel cell or a solid electrolyte type steam electrolytic apparatus.

SOLUTION: The composition of the lanthanum chromite-based material is expressed by (La(1-x)Srx)(Cr(1-y-z)CoyZrz)O3(where, 0.1≤x≤0.2, 0.01≤y≤0.05, 0.01≤z≤0.1).
