<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus provided with a replaceable unit freely attachable/detachable to/from an image forming apparatus body, which can speedily read or write information from/to a storage means without being affected by electric noise. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus provided with the replaceable unit attached to the image forming apparatus body, the replaceable unit attaches a memory member, in which information on the replaceable unit is stored, detachably, the replaceable units are attached to the corresponding predetermined parts of the image forming apparatus body, the memory member detached from the replaceable unit is attached to the corresponding predetermined parts of the image forming apparatus main body via connector members, and the image forming apparatus is controlled on the basis of the information on the replaceable unit stored in the memory member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
