<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously manufacture a film having a constant quality and superior mechanical strength and high ion conductivity by making a solid electrolyte into a film continuously. <P>SOLUTION: A dope 24 containing a solid electrolyte is made to flow and cast on a casting band 82 and a cast film 24a is formed. After the cast film 24a is separated from the casting band 82 and made into a film 62, it is sent to a tenter 64, and by holding the both end parts by a clip 64a and transferring, the film 62 is extended in width direction and dried by supplying drying air from an air feeding duct 64b. Furthermore, the film 62 is dried in a drying chamber 69 and a solid electrolyte film is obtained. Since this solid electrolyte film is extended in width direction by the tenter 64 and its orientation is improved, it is superior in mechanical strength. By this method, the solid electrolyte film having superior mechanical strength and high proton conductivity can be manufactured with a constant quality in large volume continuously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
