PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of suppressing an influence of interferences between codes and performing highly accurate frequency control when reproducing an optical disk where information has been recorded with high density. SOLUTION: The optical disk device decodes data recorded on the optical disk, and comprises: first measuring means 20 to 23 for measuring cycles of two or more synchronous signal areas VFO contained in a reproduced signal provided from an optical pickup 101; a cycle comparison part 24 for comparing measurement results of the first measuring means with a first predetermined cycle; second measuring means 25, 26 for measuring cycles of two or more second synchronous signal areas SYNC which are contained in the reproduced signal provided from the optical pickup 101 and have shorter cycles than those of the two or more first synchronous signal areas VFO; a cycle comparison part 27 for comparing the measurement results of the second measuring means with a second predetermined cycle; and an oscillator 15 for generating a clock signal CKS for sampling the reproduced signal based on the comparison results of the first and second comparison parts.
