PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump having sufficient discharge pressure and discharge amount by increasing the height and number of vane portions while achieving a smaller size. SOLUTION: The water pump comprises an impeller 7 rotatably stored in a housing, the impeller having a suction port opened and formed on the inner periphery side and a drain port formed in the outer periphery. The impeller consists of a plurality of base portions 17, 18, the vane portions 19, 20, and two front and rear impeller members 13, 14. The impeller members are arranged to be flush with each other in the state that both base portions longitudinally overlap each other using a bent portion 18c of the rear-side base portion 14 bent into a crank shape. Each base portion and each vane portion are dislocated with each other in the circumferential direction and joined to each other with welding.
