PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination rule incorporating hobby-oriented elements. SOLUTION: This combination rule comprises a main rule portion 1 and a sub-rule portion 2, with a rotary shaft 3 which connects/pivotally supports both portions 1 and 2 so as to allow free rotating of the latter 1 and 2. In addition, an angle of nip formed by intersecting straight lines which intersect with each other, in an inserted fashion, is indicated by a first reference side 5 of the main rule portion 1 and an opposed second reference side 4 of the sub-rule portion 2, to the first reference side 5. This indication uses angle indicating graduations 6 centered on the rotary shaft 3 and a cursor 7. The main rule portion 1 and the sub-rule portion 2 are configured into appearances each copied out after the shape of a part of each specified object. And further, the states of the angle of nip formed by the intersecting straight lines before and after the change of the angle, represent the respective states before and after the specified behavior of the object.
