PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advanced treatment apparatus capable of being assembled in a short period of time, and to provide a method of assembling the advanced treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: A first pipe unit U1 is composed by laying a front pipe disposed in front of a sand filter tank 2 on a first frame F1. A second pipe unit U2 is composed by laying a front pipe disposed in front of first and second activated carbon tanks 3A, 3B on a second frame F2. Respective pipe units U1, U2 are connected to respective feed ports and discharge ports of corresponding tanks 2, 3A, 3B at the installation place of the advanced treatment apparatus 1.
